Cincinnati Children's Hospital as published a Best Evidence Statement (BESt 211): Aided Language Stimulation Leading to Functional Communication Gain in Children Using Augmentative and Alternative Communication. This statement provides good information about the importance of modeling the use of AAC with children using speech generating devices (like our campers!).
